Hello, Thanks for the query. Looking at your weight and height, it is clear that with a BMI of 33.09 kgs/M2 you are going towards grade 2 obesity. Your ideal weight should be about 66 kgs. Which means you are carrying an extra 27 kgs. This is the main cause for being in pre-diabetes stage. Reducing your weight towards normal will help in remaining free from diabetes. You will have to increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries and bakery items plus food made out of maida. Plus cut down over all caloric intake based on ideal body weight (66 kgs). Then exercise regularly for over one hour a day. Refrain form alcohol and smoking. Thanks.
