Its been 6 month suffering from inguinal hernia. please guide me what would be the best treatment.

For Inguinal hernia there are two main approaches, either open surgery or Laparoscopic surgery. The choice of surgery not only depends on patient wishes but the consideration to the overall fitness of the patient is also important. If hernia is obstructed or strangulated then it is a dire emergency and Laparoscopic surgery is out of question. In strangulation or associated migration of bacteria is contraindication for putting the mesh. In short for hernia Surgery is a must. Regarding the choice of technique better you discuss it with the surgeon by whom you want to get operated.
