We are newly married couples (age 30M, 29F) and wanted a baby only after 3 years. But many are suggesting to plan a baby within 2 years of marriage. Is there truly any complications and we should not wait that long?

Yes definitely. After 30 years of age chances of complication increases. So don't wait till 3 years if possible. But still if it is not possible for you to carry pregnancy now you can wait and have pre pregnancy counselling before planning your pregnancy.
