Dear Lybrateuser, - Follow some dietary precautions for your problem: - have your meals on time, do not skip meals, chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals including snacks instead of three large meals, have a light, non- fat containing dinner at least 2-3 hrs before bedtime, raise the pillow end by 4-6 inches when sleeping at night - restrict gas forming foods such as milk & milk products, beans, legumes, raw onion & garlic, sour foods especially citrus foods, vegetables like cauliflower, radish, cabbage - also avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk foods - take tablet Pan 40, 1 tablet half an hour before breakfast daily - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - reduce weight by diet & exercise - do regular exercise like walking, yoga for proper digestion - increase fibre intake by having 2-3 fruits per day & 4-5 portions of various vegetables, whole grains per day - take isabgol powder at night, mix a tablespoonful in a glass of warm water & have it half to one hour before bedtime.
