Renal pelviectasis (swelling in kidney) seen in 2nd trimester of pregnancy usually resolves by 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Get a repeat ultrasound done at 34 weeks pregnancy, if swelling has resolved then nothing to be done ,if it persists then babies ultrasound is done after delivery to see if swelling is still present and managed accordingly. In 97-98% cases it resolves spontaneously.
