I am 42 year old man, my chest in keloid and doctor suggested in use kenacort injection (steroid), I use the 6 injection in keloid but not relief. Please suggested me.

Hello, Injection kinacort is the first line of therapy there is no cure but it reduces in size becomes soft and symptoms of itching reduces. For keloids which are not responding to kinecort next option is 5FU or botox injection. Surgery, cryo and radiation are reserved for cases which do not respond. Consult a dermatologist.

Hello. Definitely it can be treated. Keloids have variety of treatment nowadays depending upon its size, position and response. There are procedures like compression bandages, silicon gel or sheet treatment, intralesional steroids, excision etc. But none can be suggested without examination in proper.
