I am 36 weeks pregnant for my 2nd child, and I am getting numbness in my hands where sometimes I find it very difficult to lift things also and the numbness is more in my right hand. My gynae had suggested to take nurokind tablets but still I would like to know that whether is it a normal problem during pregnancy.

It is most likely due to carpal tunnel syndrome when a nerve (median nerve) in the hand gets compressed due to fluid accumulation (oedema) in pregnancy. It is more common in the second half of pregnancy and mostly seen in the dominant hand. It should resolve after delivery.
