Hi sir, I am from India and suffering from fissure, and its more then 1 year, actually I sometimes when I had constipation its come little blood with stool, but before some days I went for a check up and doctor says its fissure. Its also a hump outside the anal, like a little pimple, so can you please suggest me a good ointment for this.

Dear Lybrate user, According to your complaints you are having fissure in ano. You have to modify your diet in order to get relief. Basically you have to soften your stools for healing. Shift to high fibre diet and drink plenty for water. You can use laxatives like duphalac 25 ml at bedtime for a week until your diet is modified. Apply ointment smuth or anobliss locally to get relief from plan.
