I received my blood test report 7f9b602a today. On seeing the report .I found the following 1.isnophilia -slightly higher. 2. hemoglobin-11.7 (limit 13-17). 3. Fasting sugar. 217 (100-140). For sugar I am already taking medicine. Before taking the test the previous day 5/3/18. I observed complete fast and taking only water. Whether this will increase blood sugar level. How to improve hemoglobin and reduce isnophil What should medicines I should take. I am already heart patient. Done by pass surgery in 2013. Under medication and advise from Dr. Sunil kumar of apple hospital Himayath Nagar (old MLAQuarters) Hyderabad.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for your query. I have seen the details, following are my observations: Your hemoglobin is marginally low, that can be improved by taking Iron, folic acid and B12 containing capsules for over 3 to 4 months. Eosinophil count 2% plus does not cause any problem. Fasting glucose 217 mg is very high, suggesting present anti-diabetes treatment seems to be inadequate. Needs to be improved. We will have to give a closer look at your diet and amount of physical exercise being done apart from the drug treatment. For which you may have to come in a private conversation (paid consultation) or talk to your doctor who is treating diabetes. Thanks.
