Hello. There are around 5-6 criterias which we consider when we talk about a pre existing mole or birthmark becoming cancerous or something to be worried about. If you are saying its persistent since last few years, then there is less to worry. But keep observing it for change in colour, margins, discharges or any peculiar sensations. Hello, Moles turning to cancer are rare. The indicators of cancer are assymetrical, growing, indistinct borders, variable color, pain, ulceration and lymphnode enlargements. It is better you get it checked by a dermatologist.

For any fresh change of activity, get it examined by a dermatologist. To prevent further eruptions of new moles, use a good sunscreen. And to remove the existing moles get it treated with radiofrequency from a skin specialist or a polastic surgeon of your nearby location.
