She was suffering from fever fuo/puo from past 6 months, every test was done to rule out fever everything was normal. Only esr 32 was increased. She complained about throat pain, ENT specialist told minor tonsillitis and mild septum deviation. She is kept in akt4 tb medicine from 3 months. Still no diagnosis, we gave a cefpodoxime 200 mg for 7 days but she got relived from pain of throat and fever as she stopped it again came since it was extended to 10 days more. After this antibiotics complete she is good without fever and pain in throat and ear. Do she need to continue with akt4 as nasal mucosa biopsy was normal. Ct scan was normal and pet scan was also normal only subsentimetric lymph nodes are found.

6 months fever is a long duration. Maybe it fever of unknown origin. This needs admission and monitoring of fever chart.
