Hiatus hernia is recommended for surgery when conservative (medical) Management is not helping and when there is change in the lifestyle factors because of the problem would recommend you to first undergo a fresh Upper G.I. Endoscopy and grade the hernia and then plan for a Fundo-Plication of the stomach Laprascopically.
