My mother suffering Parkinson for over 5 years she was advised to take supracal which she took for some time but discontinued since for over 2 years now fearing side effects. Is supracal safe to take or can she take less dose of the same or any natural calcium enhancers. Please advise.

Dear lybrate-user, You may consider supracal or calcium supplement for your mother as per advise of your doctor. There is no contraindication from parkinsonism perspective unless she has contraindications underlying like for example calcium metabolism disorder etc.
