Saviour alcoholic, all test conducted, neuropathy of hands and limbs, burning & itching sensation in both limbs, cannot walk it pains allot, now has stopped drinking, but smokes regularly, I want to ask whether smoking has adverse effect in healing neuropathy, your advise will be highly appreciated.

Absolutely, smoking will harm the nerves too and he can aggravate the neuropathy. Quitting alcoholism is a tremendous achievement but he has to give up the smoking too. Get him to an addiction counselor and that help may resolve it for him. In the recommendation of the counselor he can also seek the help of medication and nicotine substitutes to ease the quitting scene.
