I am 22 years old and is having tonsils. Doctors says coblation is to be done .its the only permanent solution. What is the cost of treatment and how effective it is!

Everyone has tonsils they are a part of the throat structure. You must be having recurrent tonsillitis, or infection in the tonsils. If you have recurrent infection more than 4 times a year, please go ahead for tonsillectomy. If not, medical management is adequate. Coblation, radio frequency, cold knife and laser are just a method of removing the tonsils. Cost varies depending on the kind of hospital you get operated in. Warm regards
