I am feeling pain in the lower abdomen whenever I use weight lifting in gym and during exercises. What should I do for this?

Dear lybrateuser, - Avoid lifting weights till pain subsides - apply hot water fomentation bag to the affected area for 5 min 2-3 times a day - take a pain relief tablet twice a day after meals to reduce pain - once the pain subsides do not lift weight for further 4-5 days - when you start use very light weight & increase gradually over a week or ten days - do proper warming up before lifting & also cooling down by stretching after the exercise to reduce soreness.
