Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose 471 mg (either random or PP, it can not be both), is too high. It means your present treatment is very inadequate. This needs to be upgraded. Please tell me whether you are on only Insulin or also take any oral antidiabetic drugs? Or you have T1 or T2 diabetes? Ideally in well controlled diabetes fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. So there is need to give a detailed look at the treatment.
