My wife is suffering from Para umbilical hernia. The growth is more now a days (1.5 years back it was 3 mm n more ~20 mm). Doctors suggesting for laparoscopic or open surgery. Is there any other better and permanent option to cure the umbilical hernia? What are the ways this hernia can be controlled from further expanding till operation and post operation how to ensure the same won't repeat in the future. She delivered (with C-section/operated) our boy of 5 yrs. She is using the hernia belt for so far. Can she continue the same? During the menstruation period she's facing pain as well. please suggest the best suitable solution.
