Ipill does not damage ovary ,but it causes hormonal imbalance leading to menstrual irregularities, this imbalance is short term ,no long term effects. It should not be taken regularly, it will be better if you adopt a regular contraceptive method like oral contraceptive pills. As your periods are delayed you should do urine pregnancy test.
