I have pain in my tonsil I started smoking some time ago and I just smoke 12 cigarette did I have throat cancer or tonsil cancer. My tonsil become big and its painful I have no problem in swallowing food but it continue paining I start smoke in feb 2018 to april 30 and this time period I smoke only 12 cigarettes. Is cigarettes cause stomach pain because I have pain in my stomach for 2 days.

Hi lybrate-user, You are telling your tonsil is enlarged and you have pain. It seems through your history. Acute on chronic tonsillitis. .that is acute inflammation over chronically inflammed tonsil. You show it to any ent practitioner. It will subside. Secondly, your BMI= 33.9.so you are obese. Central obesity is a predisposing factor for dyspepsia and gastric intolerance. Althogh your smoking pack year is very less. But it is there. Show it to some gastro enterologist and start aerobic exercise. Dietitian consultation. It will be controlled. If they think they can do Upper GI endoscopy.
