Migraine episodes need to be controlled with different strategies like avoiding stressors and precipitating factors like prolonged sunlight exposure, sleep deprivation, simple pain killers as symptomatic therapy for infrequent episodes and triptans for severe attacks. Besides prophylactic therapy for few months may be needed.
