Hi lybrate-user there are several options available to treat genital warts however the treatment given to you is good to begin with provided you have very few warts. Also please use condoms to avoid transferring the virus to your partner for all you know you would have got it from your partner as well. Take the tablet thrice a day. Add a zinc supplement everyday. The warts severity will determine the period or time at which it will resolve. Consult a dermatologist in person as topical 5fu treatments /cryotherapy/cautery are also available but has to be done in office.
