Antral hyperaemia could be due to variety of reasons like acute gastritis, eosinophilia gastritis or portal hypertension. Most commonly due to gastritis, or H. Pylori infection (which if chronic can lead to atrophic gastritis, which has some risk of cancer). Better to consult the doctor who did the endoscopy regarding the further management. He may give you a course of antacid like pantoprazole. He will do a check endoscopy and if not responding, then may do a rebiopsy for H. Pylori/ urease test. If positive then he may give you anti H-pylori course. If portal hypertension is suspected, then that would be managed according to the cause of the same.
