On 1st april: Had history of urti. Then fever for 2 days. Then bilateral cervical lymph nodes enlarged and rash--diagnosed as CHICKEN POX. Completed the 5 days VALACYCLOVIR and cefixime course. After 40 days (present day)-no fever, no cough, no malaise But feels like cervical lymph nodes are enlarged. I don't exactly know whether they are not regressed since that urti OR is it TB Lymphadenitis (AS I AM A DOCTOR IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL-which can be potential source of tb bacteria!) Should I be concerned. When to go for diagnostic intervention? Please advice carefully. Thanks in advance.

Dear lybrate-user. To remove your suspicion of Tubercular Lymphadenitis YOU should go for ELISA test for tuberculosis by blood, than only any decision can be made. Simply by touch it is not possible. Since YOU had URTI so total infection might not have been wiped out so lymph nodes are enlarged what I feel so.
