Hi lybrate-user, Do get a liver function test done. Given that you have a fatty Liver, stop taking alcohol completely. Atleast till the time your results come and are within normal limits. Also get checked for other causes of fatty live that is. Thyroid function, lipid profile and blood sugar. If you have one of these abnormal you will need medicine apart from staying off alcohol. One more aspect is how much willing you are to quit and of you need help with that. If you can't quit yourself, then there are medications to reduce craving as well.
