Plan for symptomatic treatment and make sure to keep your vital parameters stable and it?s better to avoid wysolone as far as possible because of risk of developing high sugar levels

ITP is an. Autoimmune disease which some times have a waxing and waning course. So it may improve with standard therapy and later can again recur. The treatment is steroid whenever platelet goes very low and target is to keep. The patient bleeding free (not to have normal platelet counts it may be difficult to achieve). If platelet count goes dangerously low or patient have bleeding even on steroid then other therapies like IVIG Rituximab Eltrombopag or splenectomy can be tried. The third line options are dapsone, danazole and others. It is for treating doctor to decide which options will be suitable for you. Thanks.
