I am suffering from excess of uric acid which is 9.95 mg/dl according to sr. Uric acid test which has normal range of 3.4 to 7 mg/dl. Because of that I am suffering from serious back pain. What can I do to limit the uric acid within normal range?

Dear ,please manage diet you have disturbed metabolism Increasing level of Uric acid is due to increase poor excretion by kidney and excessive intake of dietary protein. Trying for weight loss or other medication, and excessive intake of Alcohol are the causes of uric acid. Symptoms for uric acid raise :as stiffness in the body, localized pain and redness, inflammation in joints.

Uric acid causes pain and swelling in small jts of hands and feet It rarely causes backache Pls do back flexion extension excercises Reduce protein in diet Have at least 4 litres of water before 5 pm Pls take a uricosuric drug as your values r very high Take Vit D and B12 supplements.
