I have been consuming Alprazolam 0.5 mg O.D.and Atenolol 50 mg O.D. Before going to bed since 1994 to till date. If I discontinue even for a day my heart palpates and I can't sleep. I am now suffering from mild memory loss. Is it due to the side effect of prolonged use of Alprazolam. How can I stop it? Please help.
