My baby is 4 months old and consistency of his stool is runny from last 3 days. Actually last month his reducing substances was positive and then after around 20 days problem was almost solved. Last week after vaccination the same problem has started again and now the number of pus cells is 3-5. Is it normal? We consulted doctor and doctor has suggested zinc and darolac. Kindly suggest me.

The number of stools passed and the quantity of stools passed have not been specified. In a breast fed infant 4 to 5 semi solid stools would be considered normal. Reducing substances in the stool are seen very often in breast fed babies after 2 or 3 days of loose motions The zinc and Darolac can be continued.
