The usual dose of albendazole for children above 2 years of aee is 400 Mg as single dose and may be repeated after one week. Anyhow, make sure all the family members take one dose of 400 Mg and children (adults ,as well) should not walk with open feet in the soil and always wear chappals 200 Mg of albendazole for 5 days is not recommended anywhere in medical journals. But a second dose can be given 2 weeks part and for children less than 2 years 200 Mg and for those above 2 years 400 Mg is to be used.
