I am now 26 weeks pregnant. I don't feel baby movements daily. Sometimes I do feel. Is it normal. Is there any test to determine if baby's mental and physical development is normal?

Hi, It's normal for first timers to be anxious about baby movements, and its sometimes difficult to appreciate till 28 weeks sometimes. To appreciate the baby movements better, after meals lie down in left lateral position (left side), in an undisturbed room, keep your palm on your abdomen, and concentrate for about 1 hour. This way you can keep track of baby movements thrice daily after every meal, movements should be more than three in 1 hour. Do not get worried if the baby doesn't move every now and then.
