Sir I am having retrocalcaneal bursitis, Dr. plastered me and injected on me but still pain is there Dr. suggested me to have surgery, should I have it or not ,I am 21 years old and a sports man ,what should I do now?

I think surgery is last resort after local steroid injection. If you are reluctant to surgery you can have one more local steroid injection if no relief after that then you can think about surgical management. Usually surgery results are good with little percent chances complications.
