My son is 2 year old but I do not feel he is listening properly or paying attention in detail. I constantly worried about him so that I feel depressed. How to teach him to pay attention in details without feeling exhausted?

Few infants have short attention span. It improves with time. Nothing to panic so much now. Wait & watch. Behave normally with your child. You can consult a clinical psychologist if no improvement in next one year.

Dear Lybrate User Your son is just 2 years and every child has his or her own pace for development. So please give him some time and space to grow. Meanwhile you can check with the Audiologist for complete hearing assessment. This will give a clarity that whether there is problem at hearing level or not. Also keep a check on situation that when does such behaviour occurs? Like it is happening all the time or during a time in day or when you scold him etc. Try some playway activities with him like playing with some blocks, peg boards, colors or amy story time. Don't make that activity too long. It should be short, simple and interesting. Then observe his behaviour. Try these tips and things still persists then consult a child Psychologist.
