I am 18 year old male and was diagnosed with NCC on 15th June, 2018. I had a single lesion measuring 4.6 mm in my frontal lobe. The medications given to me were - Zentel 400 mg (30 days), Decmax (8 mg Tab for 5 day 3 times then 8 mg Tab for 5 days 2 times then 4 mg Tab for 5 days 3 times then 4 mg Tab for 5 days 2 times and 4 mg Tab for 5 days 1 time), Levipil 500 mg (2 times a day for 2 months). I had 2 episode of GTCS. Now I am having a bit of mental confusion since past few days. I read on the internet that side effect of decmax is mental confusion? Is it a matter of concern? Should I see my neurologist again? It has been 5 days since decmax has been stopped.

Hello Muzzammil. Some side effects will always be there in medicines like these... The best way is to start homoeopathic treatment as it will not only minimize the side effects but may also be able to minimise their use...

See the neurologist again. This should not be worrisome & should settle down.
