I have been diagnosed PCOS. Doctor has advised to take metformin. Fasting insulin is 24 and fasting sugar 100. I am worried body will get used to metformin so I do not want to take it. I am ready to exercise and stop sweet intake. Will this be enough? I am overweight by 10 kg based on my bmi. Please help.

Your fasting insulin and sugars are also on the higher side .it's better to take metformin. Once things are in control it could be tapered and stopped.
