Hello doctor, I have done USG scrotum a week ago. I got a result of Grade II-III varicocele left side. I was married and don't have children. I was frustrated after seeing the report. I feel like dragging sensation on my left testis. I have also done sperm analysis test which resulted low sperm count, less motility and morphology. I consulted a doctor. He told surgery is best. But he says there is no guarantee of increasing sperm count, motility, or morphology after surgery. Only pain can be relieved. Will it effect my sexual life? What should I do. Should I do have surgery? Will there is any result? Will surgery improve my sperm count and motility, is there is any side effects after surgery? please kindly answer all the questions and give me a best suggestion. Thank you.
