I am suffering from BPH. Enlarged prostate. I have residual urine of 150 ml. Suffering from incomplete emptying of urinary bladder and feel like frequent urination. I have been taking alfoo but since it has increased my heart rate, I consulted urologist and presently taking silodosin 8 mg daily. Doctors are advising me for prostate surgery. Will I able to continue my sexual life after surgery? Any side effects from surgery? Or should I continue this tablet life long? Please help.

You will not be able ejaculate but potency is not changed. Make sure you are not drinking water more than thirst. If you do, stop immediately. It is advised by all but it is against natural principle of thirst mechanism.
