Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. Frequent passing of urine does occur in diabetes when blood glucose is not well controlled. Because kidneys absorb all the glucose up to 180 mg in blood. But level goes beyond that, then glucose is excreted into the bladder. This draws more water increasing the frequency. So please check what are the exact levels. In well controlled diabetes fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. Secondly please check your prostate for any enlargement, as that also causes increased frequency. Thanks.
