Hello Doctor, My baby is now 2.12 months old, he is ~4 kgs now and at born 1 month pre-term with 2.3 kg. He is taking Lactodex HMF from past 1 month as prescribed by Doctor. With HMF usage, I see my baby weight is increasing. Will it be safe to continue using HMF powder, any side effects to use this for months? Also he is continuing with D3 and colic drop.

If the baby is taking proper feeds (mother's milk) then one need not worry. Follow the progress of the child (milestones) and go for regular check up. Avoid medicines if there are no particular complaints. Talk to your doctor and discuss about your concerns. Also read from the internet about infant care, and nutritional supplements (when it is required ).
