Hi lybrate-user Did the pain go away? A baby is fully mature after 37 completed weeks. SO in a weeks time the baby is fully mature, and most women get into labour after this. Due date need not be reached. Before actual labour pain starts, some women feel false pains. This happens randomly, and goes away. With actual labour pain, you'll feel the uterus becoming hard, and feel pain when it is hard. The pain can be in lower back, lower abdomen or inner thighs. And it goes away in few seconds, and uterus feels soft again. This is a contraction. When this starts happening, take a watch and time the contractions. Once it comes every 5-10 minutes, and lasts 30-45 seconds, then you are getting into labour and need to go to the hospital. Also, if there is watery leak from vagina, or unusual bleeding, or if baby movementrs are not felt, you need to go to the hospital. Hope I've been clear. Do send in personal message for any further doubts. This is the time to enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy and pampering, before the baby is born with all the responsibilities. SO stop worrying about this. The baby will come when the time is right for it.
