My grandmother got inter trochanteric fracture of femur due to fall from bed in December 2015 and was treated with internal fixation, thereafter she fall down again in Feb 2016, and was operated again to remove in July /August 2016 to remove implant as it was dislocated from its position but since callus formation was started so doctors didn't have any support for fracture healing. Finally fracture was healed with hip joint fixed in external rotation deformity and limb length discrepancy of approx 2" now from 1 weak she is have tenderness and pain with movement in hip area of affected side. Pain is very severe with movement. Presently we are giving hot fomentation but she is not getting enough relief please guide.
