lybrate-user, you are suffering with autoimmune disease is. A condition where immune system mistakenly targets healthy cells & attack them, the sad news is that autoimmune disease are may a times found in group. Just like yours, where Hypothyroidism & RA factors (both are autoimmune disease) are present, cystic ovaries are mostly detected when hypothyroidism is there.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Having Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (HT) is similar to having hypothyroidism as the treatment is the same. However, HT being an autoimmune disease, it is possible to have other auto immune markers present likebeing RA positive. Do you have any arthritic complaints? If so then there is nothing to worry. Apart from maintaining TSH level in normal range with adequate dose of Levothyroxine you may also need Selenium 200 mcg, to help reduce Anti TPO antibodies. It is difficult to give a reason why there is autoimmune problem developed. Thanks.
