What is the maximum daily limit of Sugar (in grams) for a Adult person ?How much an indian Roti/Chapati normally contains Sugar? How can I measure/count what quantity of sugar I consume each day?

Hello, Thanks for the query. There is no need for any "sugar" per say. Our food (vegetarian), is containing almost 60 to 70% carbohydrates, like rice, roti, chapati, potato, sweet potato, all other grains. All the carbs get converted to glucose after digestion. So there is no need for any sugar (sucrose). One roti gives approximately 70 to 80 calories (17 to 20 g). To find out how many calories one consumes one has to count the amount of carbohydrates consumed in a day. 1 g give 4 calories. Thanks.
