Hello lybrate-user, HCV is viral that mainly affects liver. It gets transmitted through blood, sexual contact. Treatment can be given before pregnancy. Medicine available at present can not be given during pregnancy, not safe. Chances to infection to your baby is 1-10%. Some precautions required that will be taken care by your gynecologist.
