Whenever I urinate I feel a sort of numb pain or mild strain in the kidney region. There is a constant and mild strain even when I would have not urinated (that is the period between multiple urine passages). If I don't urinate for long I don't have this strain, is there an issue that I might have to pay attention to?

Yes. Surely you have to pay attention to it. These are symptoms very similar of Kidney stones. But not sure. For proper diagnosis and treatment consult me online on Lybrate. Till then drink lots of water about 4 liters a day.
