Feel terrible irritation itchy after shower. How can I avoid this? Please suggest.

When the skin is very dry, it loses the protection of natural oils, which makes the nerves more sensitive (that's your itch. Because as water evaporates off your skin, it leaves it drier than before your bath or shower. Applying lotion to damp skin locks in the moisture. If you have dry skin, try these tips: Use cool or lukewarm water only while showering or bathing. Limit showers to 10 minutes maximum. Do not bathe more than once a day. Add baby oil or oatmeal soaks to your bath to help relieve itching. Gently pat yourself dry with a towel and avoid vigorous rubbing.
