Sir I am suffering from jaundice since two months the range of bilirubin was 1.82,1.40,1.14, these are the results in this two months .today I am the once again visit near diagnostic center for bilirubin check up result was 1.40 so I am panic sir. Can I drink tea or green tea ,toddy .3 days back I am eating cheese if any effect to increasing this value sir so I kindly request you respond to me sir.

You can eat cheese and has no effect to increasing this and more important is that unless you have obstructive jaundice there is no reason for it to continue and I think you are repeatedly testing due to your anxiety only which is not needed . Jaundice is not a very serious or fatal disease as people say and nowadays it is easily treatable with rest and fluid intake and there are no specific medicines as it is a viral hepatitis that lead to jaundice
