What can I expect during my cervical biopsy? I'm terrified of the procedure and if it is going to be extremely painful or not. I'm just looking to maybe have my fears relieved.

Dear user. I can understand. Please don't be panic. A cervical biopsy is a surgical procedure in which a small amount of tissue is removed from the cervix. The cervix is the lower, narrow end of the uterus located at the end of the vagina. A cervical biopsy is usually done after an abnormality has been found during a routine pelvic exam or Pap smear. There is no need to panic and the procedure is simple. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist in person. Take care.
