I started a new pill called Cerelle after having bad side effects from the combined pills. I got told to start taking it at the start of my next period. My periods are very irregular. I started taking it a week ago without it being on the first day of my period as I could possibly not get a period for a couple months and so I wish to start taking the pill now to avoid pregnancy. Does it work the same? Am I fully protected from pregnancy? Thank you.
