I am a person with irritated bowel syndrome (spastic colon). My gastroenterologist prescribe me to take amitriptyline 10 mg everyday after dinner. And now I am feeling better. But I am having problem during sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction is happening during sex time. During penetration it gets fully erect but after 1 to 1.5 minute of sex this dysfunction starts. It is very embracing and my partner also not feel so good definitely. Please help me to get out of this problem. Thank you.

YOu have erectile dysfunction and it can be due to amitriptyline and you need to stop it . In your young age the irritable bowel need to be controlled with meditation and yoga instead of medication as it is mostly due to psychological problem
